Mira Katherine Sorvino (born September 28, 1967) is an American actress. She attended Dwight-Englewood High School, in Englewood, New Jersey. During high school, Sorvino was quite active in her school plays, which is no surprise. Sorvino eventually made her official debut in the 1993 short film, The Orbit Writer. Although it was not until her 1995 portrayal of Linda Ash in Mighty Aphrodite that Sorvino gained fame. Sorvino went on to star in films such as Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion, Summer of Sam, and Like Dandelion Dust. Sorvino has also made guest appearances on the hit television shows Will & Grace, House, and Psych.
