James Christian “Jimmy” Kimmel (born November 13, 1967) is a television host, producer, and writer. He graduated from Clark High School, in Las Vegas, NV, in 1985, where he was a member of the Spanish Honor Club. Kimmel’s first television gig started in 1997, as co-host of the game show Win Ben Stein’s Money. He began co-hosting (and co-producing) Comedy Central’s The Man Show two years later. He also co-produced another Comedy Central series, Crank Yankers, for which he voiced several of the characters. Kimmel jumped to late-night hosting in 2003, when Jimmy Kimmel Live! (which is not actually live) first aired. It’s currently the longest-running late-night talk show in ABC’s history. Kimmel also hosted the 2012 and 2016 Primetime Emmy Awards.
