Marisa Tomei (born December 4, 1964) is an American actress. She graduated with the class of 1982 from Edward R. Murrow High School in Brooklyn, New York. Although Tomei’s film debut was minor in the 1984 comedy film, The Flamingo Kid, she had a successful performance in the 1992 film My Cousin Vinny. Tomei also went on to star in What Women Want, Someone Like You, Anger Management, and The Wrestler. In addition, to her on-screen success, Tomei has also been a part of the theatre world starring in What the Butler Saw as, The Comedy of Errors, Top Girls, and The Rose Tattoo. She made her stage debut at the age of 22 in the play Daughters.
