John Harold “Jack” Lambert (born July 8, 1952) is a former American football player. He graduated with the class of 1970 from Crestwood High School in Mantua, Ohio. In high school, he was a three-sport athlete playing baseball, basketball, and football. Lambert was a middle linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers and played for 11 seasons. Lambert had his breakthrough when he replaced injured teammate, Henry Davis, which lead to Lambert earning the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Award in 1974. Throughout his successful career, he was part of nine Pro Bowls and four Super Bowl championships.
