Alvis Forrest Gregg (born October 18, 1933) is an American former professional football player and NFL coach. He graduated with the class of 1952 from Sulphur Springs High School in Sulphur Springs, Texas. In high school, he was part of the S Association, FFA club, science club, and choir. During his senior year, Gregg was voted school favorite by his peers. He was also a three-sport athlete playing baseball, basketball, and football; while being Tri-Captain and Co-Captain of the football and basketball teams. During his professional football career, Gregg was an offensive lineman which led him to be a nine-time Pro Bowl participant and a six-time NFL champion.
