Jeffrey Leon “Jeff” Bridges (born December 4, 1949) is an American actor. He graduated with the class of 1967 from University High School in Los Angeles, California. In high school, Bridges was a part of the yearbook staff and was in the senior class production of Romanoff & Juliet. Though he had many small acting roles as a child, Bridges got his first major role in the movie The Last Picture Show which earned him an Academy Award nomination. Since then, Bridges has been in many successful films like Fat City, King Kong, The Big Lebowski, The Men Who Stare at Goats, and The Giver. He has also released two musical albums and a spoken word album.
