Gary Earl Johnson (born January 1, 1953) is a politician and businessman. He graduated with the 1971 class from Sandia High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In high school, he was on the track team which won the state championships his junior year. Johnson is best known as the two term governor of New Mexico. He was also the Libertarian presidential candidate in the 2012 election. He managed to garner the second-highest poll percentage ever for a Libertarian candidate.
