Gregory LeNoir “Gregg” Allman (born December 8, 1947) is a musician. He attended Seabreeze High School in Daytona Beach, Florida. He is best known as a founding member of the Allman Brothers Band and for his ensuing successful solo career. Allman got his start early playing in various bands with his older brother. In 1969 they formed band that would rocket them to fame, The Allman Brothers Band. The band continued to record and tour as recently as 2014 and Allman continues to perform as a solo artist.
