Craig Phillip Robinson (born October 25, 1971) is an American actor, comedian, and musician. He graduated with the class of 1989 from Young Magnet High School in Chicago, Illinois. In high school, he was part of madrigals, male ensemble, and basketball team. In 2005, Robinson burst onto the scene in the hit show The Office as Darryl Philbin. Prior to his television breakthrough, Robinson was a former elementary school music teacher. After gaining exposure on The Office,Robinson starred in similar roles in the hit TV hit series Arrested Development, Reno 911, and Eastbound & Down. In addition, Robinson has starred in a variety of successful films such as, Pineapple Express, Hot Tub Time Machine, and This is the End.
