Jerome “Jerry” Allen Seinfeld (born April 29, 1954) is an American actor, comedian, writer, and producer. He graduated with the class of 1972 from Massapequa High School, in Massapequa, New York. Seinfeld began pursuing standup comedy professionally after college and started landing appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, Late Night with David Letterman, and other shows. He is best known for starring in the hit sitcom Seinfeld (1989-1998), which he co-created and co-wrote with Larry David. After Seinfeld, he co-wrote and co-produced Bee Movie (2007), for which he voiced Barry B. Benson. He was also creator and executive producer of The Marriage Ref (2010-2012). Seinfeld currently hosts the web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.
