William Thomas “Bill” Hader (born June 7, 1978) is an actor, comedian, and writer. He graduated from Cascia Hall Preparatory School, in Tulsa, OK, in 1997. Interested in filmmaking from a young age, Hader moved to Los Angeles in 1999. After several years working as a production assistant, he decided to switch gears and began taking comedy classes. He soon became part of a comedy group, which was talented enough to eventually perform for a group of Saturday Night Live producers. In 2005, Hader joined the cast of SNL, where his talent for impressions soon surfaced. After eight successful seasons, he left the show in 2013 to pursue other opportunities. Notable movies include Knocked Up, Superbad, The Skeleton Twins, and Trainwreck. Television work has included guest appearances on The Mindy Project, Portlandia, and Inside Amy Schumer. Hader has also lent his talent for voices to a number of projects, including the films Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and Inside Out and the cartoon series Bob’s Burgers.
