Henry Franklin Winkler (born October 30, 1945) is an American actor, director, and producer. He attended McBurney High School in New York, New York. In high school, he was part of the dramatics society, Glee club, soccer, swimming, and student council. In addition, Winkler was also part of the Yorkville Squad which provided activities to underprivileged children in the community. Winkler burst into the scene in the hit television sitcom Happy Days as Arthur “Fonzie” Fonzarelli. Since Happy Days, Winkler has starred in a variety of roles both in movies and television shows such as An American Christmas Carol, The Waterboy, Little Nicky, Click, You Don’t Mess with the Zohan, Numb3rs, Arrested Development, and Royal Pains.
