Patricia Helen Heaton (born March 4, 1958) is an actress. She is a 1976 graduate of Bay High School, in Bay Village, OH. While at Bay, she participated in Rockettes, jazz band, choir, track, and yearbook staff and was a member of the National Honor Society. Heaton, who began her acting career on the stage, landed her first television role in the drama thirtysomething, appearing in six episodes between 1989 and 1991. Her first starring role (for which she is perhaps best known) came five years later, when she was cast as Debra Barone in Everybody Loves Raymond (1996-2005). Other series work includes Room for Two (1992-1993), Women of the House (1995), and Back to You (2007-2008). Heaton has also appeared in Beethoven (1992) and Space Jam (1996), among other films. She currently stars as Frankie Heck in the sitcom The Middle.
