Robert Matthew Van Winkle (born October 31, 1967) known by the stage name Vanilla Ice is a rapper and actor. He attended Turner High School in Carrollton, Texas. In high school, he performed at his school’s pep rallies. Van Winkle is best known for his music career which took off in the early 90s. His first hit was the Grammy nominated Ice Ice Baby. He also had cameos in movies like The New Guy and hosted his own home improvement show The Vanilla Ice Projectwhich ran for 5 seasons.
